Well the week is over, and boy are we tired. While we enjoyed the week and it was great to be around such talented young ladies, it was a very hectic week. We want to thank everyone on the Board for allowing us to work with the Jr. Miss program and hope everyone is happy with our work.
Well it Saturday the judges had to select a winner and man did they have their work cut out for them. Just getting to the top ten was a tough job, but selecting just one winner out of so many winning young ladies is a job I am glad I did not have to accomplish.
Congrats goes to Hannah Roberts of Covington County!

Well last night was a blast, a great party hosted by a great family. I want to personally thank the Alexanders for hosting this party at their lovely home, they did a great job! Well last night the girls got to do a little more acting, got to show off their Mississippi Trivia knowledge, meet the judges and last but not least show off their dance moves.

Kudos goes out to the gang at the Spotted Pony here in Meridian, they did a great job with the party and I think everyone had a great time. After a good meal the girls got to exercise their creative side and did some painting, then it was some pretty competitive rounds of musical chairs. Last we ended the night with the girls showing off their talent doing a improv dance routine.

We have been looking forward to this week for some time. We are excited about covering this event for the first time, and today was a fun day to start. First the girls went through registration and orientation. Then when to their home for the week with their host families. That evening we all meet at the Palms/Park for the host party.
I believe everyone had a fun time!
